Justin Bieber is arrested for DUI in South Beach

The Biebs brought his talents to South Beach this week, or so it seems, but what after an all-nighter of partying he was put under arrest in the early hours of Thursday morning. Miami Beach police announced the arrest of Justin Bieber, charging him with DUI, after an apparent drag race. Now celebrity news website TMZ is reporting that his father was his partner in crime.
Police reported that Bieber  was involved in a drunken drag race on the residential Pine Tree Drive. Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez told the Miami Herald that Bieber was under the influence of drugs. Other police sources say he allegedly confessed to being under the influence of anti-depressants, alcohol and marijuana when he was stopped by police.
They say Bieber resisted arrest without violence, dropping several f-bombs at police as they handcuffed him.
A police spokesman also told the Herald the 19-year-old’s entourage had apparently used their cars to block traffic on Pine Tree Drive at 26th Street to create a drag strip for the singer, who was in a Lamborghini.

Hours after news of the arrest was made public, TMZ reported that sources close to the situation ”tell us … 38-year-old Jeremy Bieber was not only present when Justin was arrested early Thursday morning … he was one of the people who helped block off the residential street so his son could drag race.”

The night before, Justin Bieber had been spotted at the King of Diamonds in North Miami-Dade, an expansive strip club, where he reportedly blew tens of thousands of dollars and was spotted prancing around the club shirtless. It’s unclear why he had taken off his shirt.
No injuries were reported as a result of the traffic incident.
